Kakarot & C.o.N-Vers - Fallen Titans (Underground Hip Hop, UK) (Review)

Image
In an age long over shadowed by mumble rap and weak ass gibberish with no clear rhyming skills and the delivery of turds on a manufactured platter with lyrical content akin to bog fart, then gems like this are always welcome to show us what real hip hop sounds like.  Grimy ass flows with old school dark beats matched with modern production.  Short length tracks, but it's tangible enough to get your teeth into. Don't sleep, good shit.  Bog recommends. Support/follow: https://kingkakarot.bandcamp.com/album/kakarot-c-o-n-vers-fallen-titans

IRONRAT (UK) - Beneath It All (Released Feb 28th, Argonauta Records ) (Doom/Sludge) (Review)

Image
Riffs are dirty as my bog water, clean vocals, solid drums, and nice tempo & windmill head banging parts. Bog shook his fat ass. "A Thunderous Listen" . Links: https://www.facebook.com/ironrattheband https://www.facebook.com/ArgonautaRecords Bog approves.

Twice Dark - "Necromantic" single/remixes (Goth/Industrial) (Review)

Image
Nice ghosty vocals delivering haunting feels & solid composition. Nothing overshadowing each other, all balanced and easy on the ear. Think of the soundtrack for old school horror movies & indie horror movies. Bog ranks the singles/remixes in this order: 1. Necromantic (original), 2. Necromantic (Horrorhaus remix), and 3. Markus Midnight Remix, which Bog didn’t like, it's ok, but the first two listed are the stronger versions. Follow for links: https://linktr.ee/jfkreuz Bog approves.

Vague Lane - Heptahedron (Single) (Post Punk/Darkwave) (Review)

Image
Vague Lane's single from forthcoming album. Mellow haunting vocals with a melancholy score. Think 80s post punk with a slight synthy feel. Bog didn’t like the Darkswoon Remix, but the original single version of ‘Heptahedron’ is good. Follow for links:  https://linktr.ee/vaguelanes Bog approves.
