Absolute Darkness dropped third single, “Above The Law,” from forthcoming album, "Witness To A Dying World," due on October 23rd. The new single continues the album's exploration of power, corruption, and the human consequences of societal collapse. “This is probably the most collaborative song on the album. Everyone contributed ideas that found their way into the final version, making it one of the most enjoyable songs to write,” said Ron Dorn (Guitar / Lead Vocals). Lyrically, Above The Law  examines the mindset of an individual who believes themselves immune from consequences. ​ “It's told from the perspective of someone who believes they're completely untouchable. Fatum Aeternum  re-release "P.W.Y.P."  from their 2012 EP The Sermon .   The song has been completely rebuilt for its streaming debut. They keep the original 80s rooted guitar riff and add aggressive male vocals, female counter vocals, cello, and a full gospel choir. Prog/alternative metal band Red Code  dropped their official music video for "Checkmate,"  from their debut EP "Traces of Unease and Discomfort (Episode 1)",  which is was released via Epictronic Records . "Checkmate" uses a game of chess as the basis for manipulation, control, and emotional conflict.  The video is one of three chapters in An Archive of Us , a sci-fi/thriller short film that uses a dystopian setting to examine the need for control.  The other two chapters are built around the tracks "Quarantine" and "Toxic Karma." Stenchers! Deep, hypnotic, groovy, and mid bass paced techno.  There are levels of groove and house that Bog usually doesn't quite vibe, but Alchemy has a feel about it.
