BOG STENCHMARE

  FÆNGS new single  Leviathan  is a b eautiful dark track, which could be taken straight from a sci-fi film with sprawling sky scrapers and cars flying between them. Vocally there is a dual offering from a grim harsh tone, reminiscent of black metal vocals, slower and clearer, but with a sinister synthetic approach. Bog probably has watched too many sci-fi movies, but it's a hook for sure. The other vocals are clean, soft, and mellow, and layer  Leviathan with a narrative quality like a story teller singing from their perspective. It's compelling and catches the imagination. Musically, slow tempo Dark Synth and a little Cyberpunk combining Industrial overtones, and a futuristic background melody. There are also some dance stepping sections for your feet, which Bog needs to do soon on the treadmill, but that's another story.  An enjoyable well produced track that is both stimulating and good sci-fi music in our opinion.
