TENZOE & ANAHATA - DWAPARA YUGA: THE LOST TAPES EP (REVIEW, RELEASED 22ND SEPTEMBER, 2025, CONSCIOUS HIP HOP, RAW/REAL HIP HOP)

Yo! What’s good? Bog was diving in and out the swamps, and they stumbled upon Dwapara Yuga: The Lost Tapes from these 2 cats. We don’t play the algorithm network game, so not sure where to peep the EP outside of the links below, it's not hosted on Tenzoe's Bandcamp, so Dwapara Yuga: The Lost Tapes are for real! but listen/support at the links below.

From what Bog’s ears can recognize, lo-fire, very old school influenced beat rhythm and structure akin to the legacy crime/gangster movies. What you would expect to hear on the soundtrack for those movies with subtle patterns dropped on the beat. The 3 tracks are bangers, especially ‘Megapixelz’. Bog also think's the beat would be a sick crossover to drop in a DnB set and Tenzoe's flow would complement the pace. Bog fell into that habit again of counting the time in their mind again. Def banger of the bangers on the EP.

Subtle funk bass lines, slower beat pace, but very street, clean flow projecting a calm anger regarding human behavior in current times, resilience, overcoming troublesome personal periods, and more. No filter fo sure.

Sick EP,  don’t sleep y’all.
