(MUCK POOL NEWS) PROGSTORM FESTIVAL 2027 (PROGRESSIVE METAL) — NATIVE CONSTRUCT REUNION AND INITIAL LINEUP ANNOUNCED

Montréal’s premier progressive metal gathering, ProgStorm Festival, has announced its return to Club Soda from August 20 to August 22, 2027, for its ambitious third edition. Boston progressive metal outfit Native Construct is the first official act locked in for the 18-band lineup, ending a lengthy hiatus to perform their landmark 2015 Metal Blade Records album, Quiet World, in its entirety.

Formed in 2011 by students at Berklee College of Music, the band's theatrical sound shifts between heaviness, jazz, and classical influences. Organized by promoters Jici Lord-Gauthier and Eddy Levitsky, the three-day international event will unveil seventeen additional artists in the coming weeks.

On the curation goals for the international audience, founder and promoter Jici Lord-Gauthier comments:

“Expect a mix of bands that fans rarely, if ever, get the chance to see on North American stages, alongside others that are just as elusive in Europe. We want people coming from either side of the Atlantic to find something in this lineup they might otherwise never get to experience live.”

Reflecting on the final performance roster, fellow promoter Eddy Levitsky adds:

“We’re extremely proud to have these bands joining us next year. We’ve been looking forward to sharing this lineup, and we think prog metal fans will be just as excited as we are when they see what’s coming.”
