(MUCK POOL NEWS) ROSTRES ANNOUNCES NEW INSTRUMENTAL ALBUM "RONGENT D'UNE CLAMEUR CONFUSE" (POST-ROCK / SLUDGE)
French instrumental project Rostres will release its new
album, Rongent d'une clameur confuse, on November 13, 2026. The release is a
joint production between Celestine Records, Araki Records, and 1724 Records,
and will be available on LP and digital formats.
The four-track record marks the third chapter of an ongoing album tetralogy. The core duo of Alain Brunet and Lionel Mermin have expanded their standard post-rock and sludge instrumentation by incorporating piano, trombones, violins, violas, double basses, and cellos.
The album features guest
contributions from Kevin Fayet, Eva Dymko, Franck Marquehosse, Julien
Suhubiette, Damien Bec, Jean-Baptiste Salles, and Sophie Bacqué. Recording,
mixing, and production duties were handled by Alain Brunet at Celestine Records
Studio in Pau, France, with mastering completed by Nick Zampiello at New
Alliance East Mastering in Somerville, Massachusetts.
Rather than imposing a fixed narrative, ROSTRES describe the work as an abstract tableau in which each listener can explore a universe of their own.
