What up Bogs! Amped af and pushed for time, but we didn't want to pass on Meltification, which really does melt ears like cheese under the grill. Bog selected some banger tracks from album he particularly enjoyed, they are worthy ear destroyers. Such a fun listen and there will be problematic difficulty sitting quiet to this one Bogs!
3. Assembly Line Of Horror - Classic grindcore with hardcore and hardcore punk.
4. Nuclear Death Threat - A most definite rager.
5. Leech – Bog loved it, was already amped with the previous track, Leech just made Bog feel like he was in a sauna wearing trash can bag pants and saying "you f*ckers cannot sweat like me."
6. River Of Torment - Good solid sick hardcore vibe, circle pit anthem for sure.
7. Raw Hate Inferno – Non-stop raw fury, loved it.
8. Hellscape - Beautiful hardcore punk intro. Riffs step up too, it's like driving a harvester in a field of marshmallows.
9. A.Imageddon - The title is on point, but it's another banger.
10. Hellscape Pt 2 - Some folks may skip it. An instrumental, but Bog likes how it's constructed to set the scene for the following tracks. The serene before the boiling anger returns.
11. Memento Gory - Bog was back in the sauna looking smug wearing those pants. Musical fury!
12. Wargod – Khorne himself would be proud! Blistering full force carnage!
13. Doomsday Horde – Hyped amped up af grind/hc with crossover traces.
15. Mass hypnosis – Sick usage of hardcore and another track just begging you to get on a mower and ride it around!
Rating/Bog's thoughts: The audio levels are loud and clean, no abandoning the sewers in terms of the gutter feel. Steps were obviously taken to ensure high audio output with an aggressive and rageful sound, but the instruments can still be heard.
The drums pummel, the vocals are angry and flow nicely to deliver the high octane speed necessary for grindcore.
Meltification's self titled release is strictly for the extreme, so fair warning for the ears if they aren't accustomed to an all out non-stop power boat style racing across the waves audio approach. But, for those who enjoy being smashed across the water, then strap in for pure sonic to the point audio warfare.
Imagine listening to a p*ssed off garden hose that is tired of being strangled by Kenneth the dog's mouth. Meltification's self titled album captures the anger felt in such a situation perfectly.
