MUCK SCROLLS PT 1 - GAUPA (STONER ROCK/FUZZ, REVIEW) - SELFT TITLED DEBUT (RELEASED JUNE 2ND, 2018)
Muck Scrolls - Disclaimer
They are super short bog spews from the muck revolving
around bands/artists early releases. Some of which may no longer be active, but
the bogs spat them out to be shared.
Short overviews, not so much on the deep dive side or audio
commentary.

The opening track Febersvan will appeal to a wide spectrum from metal, rock, and guessing general fans of music. The song contains middle eastern/oriental vibes put together to build an interstellar cosmic space sound featuring soulful haunting vocals.
The Drunk Autopussy Wants To Fight You has an up tempo rock and
roll vibe. A good song with high energy.
Kartan is dominant, loud, and has boot stomping riffs pulling you into the song from the start, then transitions into a brief atmospheric slower section to formulate the mood.
It continues to build throughout the track. The riffs return at various moments to add layers of heaviness and deeper tension to the song. Another special track with beautiful vocals demonstrating soul and fire.
Gryt follows up with a rock and roll driven song. It’s another example of switching up from hard riffs to melodic mood driven sounds, but Gaupa don’t drop the rock and roll tempo. Emma’s vocals again showcase her range. All in all, a well rounded track.
Bergatroll closes out the EP and was the only track we didn’t enjoy, but Gaupa's debut was solid.
