(BOG REVIEW SPECIAL) "THE UNNAMABLE II": THE STATEMENT OF RANDOLPH CARTER (1992, COMEDY HORROR MASTERCLASS)
Bog has been provided with an early gift list for the Stenchers, which are some classic comedy horrors, or those that should be categorized as such!
So, Bog sat down, used the futuristic dirty post-apoc stench ass magic to do some viewings of these historical archive diamonds.
Deep dives to come later, but for now it's a quick bag of muck!
The Unnamable II (also known as The Unnamable Returns)
Bog wasn't prepared for this! Golden muck!
Bog ran through the swamps to transmit this to the Stenchers.
There are two scenes that are an absolute must!
What Bog witnessed was the epitome of tactical close combatives. It was so effective, Bog is seriously considering adapting this for our forces.
So, what is this warfare from the past that can be adapted?
The Library Book Toss:
Nothing says high-stakes occult survival like a Miskatonic University student cornered in the library stacks by a towering, rubber-winged hag demon (played by Julie Strain)... and the master strategy is to chuck a hardcover textbook straight at its face. Yes, affirmative. A big ass hardback book that can probably serve in a demolitions team.
It's not just the book toss, it's the expression on his face. It's like, "Oh f*c-k- it, I can't be bothered reading this shit, it's as interesting as a pompous lounge singer describing my thrilling cheese slicing to be placed between bread."
Tomorrow morning Stenchers, report at 0500 hours for book toss training and facial expressions will be practiced!
Bog did mention two scenes. The second scene.
The Shotgun Sheriff Disaster:
Officer Debbie Leah (Siobahn McCafferty) delivers an acting masterclass in pure, zero-budget camp. She charges in roaring with the shotgun, completely over-acting the anger and the need to challenge KFC Rubber Demon Bat Hag.
So, what does KFC Rubber Hag do? Drops from the ceiling on obvious stunt wires and instantly slaughters her. It's like, "Okay, you can shout and move in a determined manner, but I was born from KFC gravy and can do this with my rubber wings and ancient nana hands!"
The Unnamable II will be given a Bog deep dive at some point. Unintentional comedy classic!
